TOHAV, formally Toplum ve Hukuk Araştırmaları Vakfı, is a Turkish civil society organization founded by lawyers to promote democratic and universal legal principles. Media Defence’s own materials refer to TOHAV as the intended partner and place it in freedom-of-expression defense work in Turkey.
