We fund local legal centres to provide free legal support to journalists in their country.
We provide grants and technical support to organisations around the world to enable them to provide free, high quality legal support directly to journalists and media outlets in their countries.
Last year we funded 21 organisations in 19 countries.
Our aim is to expand this network, creating better local-level access to legal support for independent media who lack the financial means to access it at commercial rates.
