Makuta joined Media Defence in 2021. She has worked for over 10 years within the charity sector. Prior to Media Defence, Makuta worked with Y Care International, Child Soldiers, The Redress Trust and The Sierra Leone Military. She has a BSc in Economics Bachelor degree with a major in Accounting and a MSc in Charity Accounting and Finance.
