Georgia joined Media Defence in 2019. She previously worked in higher education as a Global Opportunities Assistant, coordinating internationalisation projects for students in the UK, Ghana, India and the US. She also assisted on a strategic investigation and litigation project with the Global Legal Action Network to challenge processes of occupation and economic exploitation and has interned with law firms in Spain, Ghana and the UK, researching international and domestic civil law. Georgia studied law (European Legal Studies with Spanish LL.B) at Lancaster and has an MPhil in Development Studies from Queens’ College, Cambridge. She is a native speaker of English, Italian and Twi, and is also fluent in Spanish.
